How to Consign with Junk & Java
What is consignment?
Consignment is - you provide the furnishings, we provide the store. We share the profits. When sold, you receive 50% of the final selling price. Our professional store environment saves you from spending your time showing items and/or opening your home to strangers!
What kind of items does Junk & Java accept?
We love unique chairs, tables, lamps, rugs, lighting, art, mirrors, accessories, and general home decor. Due to limited space, we can take only 1-2 sofas at a time. Furniture pieces need to be gently used, clean and free of rips, tears, stains, smells and pet hair. Photos of furniture must be emailed for approval.
We also accept women’s plus size clothing, freshly laundered, pressed, and on hangers – sweaters may be folded. We take only sandals in the summer & boots in the winter. No other women's shoes accepted due to limited space.
We are looking for your better quality & designer clothing: casual wear, professional attire, formal wear, coats, and purses.
We take a very limited amount of jewelry.
We do not take baby items, books, records, and most electronic items.
As part of our Community Thrift program which helps fund needed projects within the greater Warrensburg area, we do accept AS DONATIONS general household items such as pots & pans and other kitchen supplies, picture frames, puzzles, etc. Thirty percent (30%) or more of all donation sales go to community support programs such as a senior bus to Queensbury or micro funding new businesses in the area. We'd love a donut shop!!
